DIRECTOR-LED BRAND FILMS
Brand films built around a story worth watching.
Story-led films for businesses and organisations using real people, real places and carefully planned visuals.
We find the strongest story, decide who should tell it and film the people, places and details that make it credible.

You do not need to arrive with a script.
Tell us who the film is for and what they should understand. We shape the structure from there.
HOW TO COMMISSION A BRAND FILM
Find the story before choosing the shots
The strongest film starts with the audience, the people and the proof — not a list of camera moves.
Define the audience first
Who is watching, what do they already know and what should change by the end? That determines the contributors, tone and level of explanation.
Find the strongest human story
The best contributor is not always the most senior person. A founder, customer, employee or service user may give the film more detail and credibility.
Show the proof as well as saying it
Plan real activity, locations, products, processes and details around the spoken story so the pictures support what is being said.
Decide how natural or controlled it should feel
Some films stay documentary-led; others need controlled lighting, planned movement, voice-over or staged moments. The production style follows the brand.
FROM STORY TO FINISHED FILM
A clear production process without making the film feel manufactured
The planning happens before the camera arrives, so filming can stay natural and the edit has a clear direction.
Audience, message, contributors and the real situations that can carry the film.
Questions, locations, schedules, permissions and shot priorities.
Natural contributor direction alongside purposeful B-roll and detail.
Main film first, then the agreed captions, cutdowns and social versions.

TWO STORYTELLING ROUTES
Real business or scripted idea?
Both can look cinematic. The difference is where the story comes from.
Built from the real business
Founders, customers, staff, workplaces, products and real experiences.
- Natural interviews
- Real locations
- Documentary-led B-roll
Built around a scripted idea
Actors, dialogue, humour, characters or a designed scene.
- Concept and script
- Actors or models
- Planned action and art direction
NARRATIVE BRAND FILMS
Want to see how a story-led idea is pitched?
A narrative brand film can use characters, actors, humour or a short scripted story instead of another conventional corporate video. Ask for an example pitch page showing how the concept, script, visual references and proposed shots can be presented before filming.
BUDGET & PRODUCTION SCALE
Brand film production from £1,500
Budget is driven by filming days, locations, contributors, crew and the number of finished versions — not running time alone.

BRAND FILM FAQ
Common questions before commissioning a brand film
What should a brand film include?
Usually the right contributors, real activity, products or services in use, locations, music and clear brand messaging. Voice-over, graphics and drone footage can be added where they genuinely help.
Do contributors need to learn a script?
Usually not. For real people, we normally work from questions, themes and key points so the delivery stays natural.
Can we create shorter versions too?
Yes. Shorter social, vertical, captioned and campaign versions can be planned alongside the main film.
How long should a brand film be?
Most sit somewhere between 60 seconds and three minutes. The right length depends on the story, audience and where the film will live.
Can you work from a rough idea?
Yes. A finished script is not required. We can start with the audience, message and likely contributors and shape the structure from there.
What makes the budget increase?
Extra filming days, more locations, a larger crew, specialist lighting, travel, actors, animation and multiple finished versions.
