PROFESSIONAL SOURCE CAPTURE FOR AI
Digital twin video capture built for reuse.
Professional video, still photography and clean voice capture for AI avatars, digital twins and reusable on-camera libraries.
We can work to the current requirements of platforms such as HeyGen, while capturing additional source material where a business wants a broader library for future use.
AI AVATAR & DIGITAL TWIN SOURCE CAPTURE
VIDEO · VOICE · STILLS · MOVEMENT
WHY BUSINESSES DO IT
Record the source material once. Reuse it when the message changes
We have experience filming digital-twin source material for businesses that want a professionally captured bank of video, voice and still photography for AI-avatar use.
The immediate requirement may be to create an avatar in HeyGen. The wider reason is often simpler: every fresh training message, company update or explainer would otherwise need another diary slot, another room setup and another clean on-camera delivery.
The contributor still performs properly on the capture day. The difference is that the session is designed to create reusable source material rather than one finished film.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY
A digital twin session follows a clear capture procedure
It is not an interview and the contributor does not have to improvise. The core platform material is normally a prepared script or guided text read directly to camera, recorded cleanly and consistently.
Before filming. Confirm the intended AI platform, obtain its current capture guidance, agree the script, outfits, room and additional stills or movement shots.
Controlled camera, lighting and sound. Lock exposure and white balance, light the face evenly and position the microphone for clean speech.
Record the core scripted material. Capture long uninterrupted takes at a natural pace and repeat sections where necessary.
Build the wider library. Add still photography, alternate outfits, expressions, seated or standing material, gestures and movement where useful.
Check before packing down. Review important takes, photographs and separate audio on location while the contributor and setup are still available.
WHAT WE CAN CAPTURE
A lot can be covered in one well-planned day
Once the controlled setup is built, it is possible to capture much more than one avatar take without turning the day into a sprawling production.
Core avatar video
Long direct-to-camera script reads with a stable eyeline, natural delivery and clean uninterrupted sections for the chosen AI platform.
Reference photography
Professional stills can include straight-on headshots, 45-degree left and right turns, profile views, neutral and smiling expressions and wider portraits.
Movement & gesture
Standing, seated, turning, pointing, hand gestures and walking variations can be added where the wider brief calls for full-body source material.
Wardrobe & environment
Several outfits can be covered in the same session, with a clean neutral setup first and natural workplace material added afterwards if it serves the intended use.
TECHNICAL CAPTURE
Consistency matters more than making it look cinematic
For the core avatar material we favour a stable camera position, fixed exposure and white balance, controlled lighting, a clean background and clear speech. The aim is repeatable source material rather than dramatic lighting changes between takes.
Skin shine is worth dealing with before a long recording. Professional video lighting can make shine on the forehead, nose, cheeks or a shaved head more noticeable. Disposable blotting sheets are useful for quick touch-ups; for some contributors a small amount of translucent mattifying powder is worth considering. A professional makeup artist can be added for larger productions.
Where the brief requires separate voice material, clean WAV audio can also be supplied alongside the camera originals.

DELIVERY & RIGHTS
Keep the source material usable after the shoot
Delivery can include original camera footage, RAW photographs, separate audio and processed selects, organised so another editor or AI supplier can understand what has been captured.
Commercial and AI usage rights should be agreed as part of the commission. Where required, the licence can cover AI-avatar use, digital-twin use, derivative content and ongoing commercial use by the commissioning business.
Original 4K camera files
RAW still photographs
Separate audio where required
Processed selects and organised folders
Optional proof edits
COMMISSIONING QUESTIONS
Practical questions before a digital twin shoot
Platform requirements, contributor preparation, room suitability and what can realistically be captured in one session.
What should we send you before filming?
The current platform or AI provider, its latest recording guidance, the script or prompts, the intended use, the number of contributors and outfits, and a few photographs of the proposed room if filming on location.
What does the contributor actually do on camera?
For the core avatar material they usually read a prepared script or guided text directly to lens. It is not an interview. We concentrate on natural delivery, continuity, clean sound and obtaining uninterrupted takes that meet the platform brief.
How much can be captured in one day?
A well-planned day can cover the core scripted avatar takes plus still photography, alternate outfits and additional expression, gesture or movement material. The exact amount depends on the platform requirements, room and number of contributors.
Can the session be filmed at our office?
Yes, provided there is a reasonably quiet room with enough space for the camera, lighting and background. A plain wall can work very well. If the available rooms are cramped or noisy, a hired meeting room or studio may be the better option.
BUILD THE
SOURCE
LIBRARY
Send the current AI-platform specification, script, location and the wider material you want to keep. We can shape the filming day around the core avatar requirement without missing the photographs, voice or movement assets that may be useful later.
