We’re particularly interested in scripted and narrative-led advertising work. These productions can be built around actors, presenters, locations, art direction and more involved production planning, so tell us the idea and working budget and we’ll discuss what can realistically be achieved.
PRICING FAQ
A few practical points
Packages are useful starting points, but the final quote follows the actual filming, crew and editing workload.
Is the package price per day of filming?
No. The package is a ball-park guide for a typical production and the editing of the two specified videos is already factored into it. A client might want one finished video but need several days of filming, or might want 12–20 finished videos from only 1–3 filming days. Editing a larger number of videos can take considerably longer than the filming itself. Crew can vary by day too — for example, a presenter or make-up artist may be needed on one day but not the next. We therefore adjust the quote around the actual filming schedule, deliverables, crew and post-production rather than treating the package as a fixed day rate.
Can I book filming without editing?
Yes. Filming-only and raw-footage bookings are available when your own editor, agency or in-house team will handle post-production.
How are filming dates confirmed?
Dates are confirmed once any agreed booking payment has been received. Balances are normally payable within 7 days of invoice unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing.
What if I need more than two finished videos?
No problem. The quote is based on the actual number and complexity of the edits as well as the filming required. A larger content campaign may involve relatively few filming days but substantially more post-production.
Are revisions included?
Yes. Edited productions include an agreed review and revision process before final delivery.
Do you work across the UK?
Yes. MJ Films works on location throughout the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands. Travel and accommodation where needed are agreed before the production is confirmed.
