Why fly a UK filmmaker into Europe?
Because sometimes the person who already understands the brief, the client and the expected finish is more useful than starting again with a local crew.
We regularly work as a compact production unit. Cameras, lenses, audio and essential lighting can travel with us, keeping the setup straightforward for interview filming, case study films, conference sessions and location work.
For larger productions we can add crew, specialist equipment or local support where the job genuinely needs it.

HOW IT WORKS
Travel is quoted separately, not hidden in the production fee.
Flights, rail, accommodation, baggage and local transport are agreed before the booking is confirmed.
Where a shoot ties up additional travel days, those are allowed for in the quote too. That keeps the production cost clear and avoids pretending an overseas assignment is the same as a local filming day.

Assignments can be arranged in Switzerland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Sweden and elsewhere in Europe where the project is practical to service from the UK.
For productions involving restricted sites, drones, permits, local access rules or specialist insurance, we confirm those requirements before travel is booked.

Useful things to know before booking
Do you charge a European day rate?
The production fee is based on the filming, crew and post-production required. Travel days, flights, rail, accommodation and other agreed expenses are then added separately.
Can you film a customer or case study outside the UK?
Yes. That is one of the strongest reasons to use a travelling crew: the same production approach can be used for customers, partners or sites in different countries.
Do you bring all equipment from the UK?
For compact productions, usually yes. For larger lighting, grip, specialist audio or additional camera requirements, local hire can sometimes be more sensible.
Can you cover conferences and speaker sessions?
Yes. Multi-camera conference filming, panel discussions, keynote presentations and individual speaker recordings can all be planned as part of the assignment.
