EVENT FILMING & LIVE PRODUCTION
TELL US WHAT NEEDS TO BE CAPTURED
Useful coverage starts with the schedule
Before filming, we establish the important speakers, room layout, access times, house sound, presentation feeds and the final videos required. This determines whether the event needs a discreet single operator or several cameras and crew.
London venues can introduce restricted loading, security checks, limited parking and fixed setup windows. Sharing those details early allows the crew to arrive with the right equipment and work efficiently with venue and AV teams.
More than a highlights film
One event can supply full presentations, individual speaker sessions, panel discussions, sponsor content, social clips and a concise film for promoting the next event.
London event coverage built around the day
Camera numbers, sound, crew and deliverables are matched to the event rather than forced into a standard package.
Conferences and expos
Keynotes, demonstrations, exhibition activity and delegate interviews recorded with clear sound and purposeful supporting footage.
Panels and presentations
Multi-camera coverage of speakers, audience questions and venue audio for complete sessions and concise highlights.
Commercial and public events
Brand activations, launches, charity events and sport captured through action, reactions, interviews and atmosphere.
Private events and performances
Speeches, awards, entertainment and important moments filmed discreetly around guests and the running order.

Event videographers for London venues
We film in the City of London, Westminster, Canary Wharf, Shoreditch, South Bank, Mayfair, Kensington, Hammersmith, Greenwich, Wembley and across Greater London.
Coverage is suitable for hotel ballrooms, conference venues, exhibition halls, theatres, restaurants, offices, galleries, outdoor spaces and private venues. We do not claim to know every room in advance: where needed, we liaise with your organiser or venue contact about access, power, sound and safe camera positions.
Interviews and supporting footage
Speaker or delegate interviews can often be filmed alongside the event. Supporting footage of the venue, displays, networking, products and audience gives the edit context and visual variety while helping cover interview edits.
Useful event filming tips
For event coverage, we often combine a fixed wide camera for continuous coverage with a second operated camera for tighter shots and reactions.
A wide-angle gimbal is useful for establishing shots and smooth movement through the venue, while a compact Osmo Action camera works well for discreet mingling shots and inserts.
Good sound matters just as much as the pictures, so we plan venue feeds and backup audio in advance.
If photography is also required, using the same production team helps. Video and stills can be coordinated so operators are not blocking each other or competing for the same positions.
A practical event filming process
1. Share the venue and running order
Send the date, London venue, access information, speakers, timings and intended final videos.
2. Plan cameras and sound
We agree camera positions, presentation feeds, microphones and the realistic setup window.
3. Film without interrupting guests
The crew arrives with time to test sound and works around delegates, venue staff and production suppliers.
4. Edit for each audience
Receive the agreed highlights, complete sessions, captions and shorter versions in practical formats.
Need a live stream as well?
Event recording can be combined with a professional event live stream for remote viewers. Cameras, audio, connectivity and the viewing page are planned together.
Event filming London FAQs
Practical answers about camera coverage, sound, access and delivery for London events.
How many cameras does our event need?
A straightforward talk may need one operator. Panels, audience questions, performances or simultaneous activity normally benefit from several angles. We recommend coverage from the running order rather than adding cameras without purpose.
Can you record from the venue sound system?
Yes, where the venue or AV team can provide an appropriate feed. We normally discuss connections in advance and retain practical independent audio where useful.
Can you supply full talks and a highlights film?
Yes. One recording plan can supply complete presentations alongside a concise highlights film, individual speaker clips, captions and social versions.
How early does the crew arrive?
Arrival depends on loading, security, room access and technical complexity. We allow enough time to position cameras, connect sound and test before guests or speakers need the space.
Can you film while the event remains open?
Yes. Positions and movement are planned around sightlines, safety, delegates and the venue team so filming does not obstruct the event.
