OUR VIDEO PRODUCTION PROCESS

A clear process.

Concerned about the time or disruption involved in making a corporate video? We plan around your working day, explain each stage and keep the production focused on the result.

mark jury films

Direct communication

Plan with the filmmaker responsible for the production.

Flexible filming

Schedules shaped around people, access and the working day.

Useful deliverables

Main films, shorter edits, captions, social versions and stills.

START WITH THE RESULT

Video production without the uncertainty

Start with the job the film must do: explain a service, strengthen a sales page, support recruitment, deliver training, document an event or support a campaign.

We then choose the right format, crew and schedule. That may be one experienced self-shooting director or a larger team with camera, lighting, sound, presenter, actor or voice-over support. You receive the plan and quotation before filming.

FROM BRIEF TO DELIVERY

A clear route through video production

The detail changes with the project, but the process remains organised and easy to follow.

01

Objectives and audience

Define what the film must achieve, who it needs to reach and how success will be judged.

02

Creative approach

Agree the format, story, interviews, script or storyboard and the most useful final versions.

03

Pre-production

Plan locations, access, contributors, permissions, crew, equipment, timings and contingencies.

04

Filming

Capture interviews, demonstrations, action, atmosphere and the supporting detail needed for the edit.

05

Editing

Shape the story, refine picture and sound, and add branding, captions, graphics or music where required.

06

Review and approval

Collect clear feedback, confirm terminology and complete the agreed revisions efficiently.

07

Delivery and reuse

Supply the master and platform-specific versions for web, social, presentations, events or internal use.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT FORMAT

Documentary-led or carefully scripted

The best approach depends on the audience, contributors, message and where the finished film will be used.

DOCUMENTARY-LED

Real people and real working environments

Interview-led filming can show the people, process and culture behind the organisation without feeling over-rehearsed.

We prepare the questions and story structure, then help contributors give clear, natural answers. Supporting footage provides the visual evidence that makes the story credible.

SCRIPTED OR PRESENTER-LED

Precise information and controlled delivery

A script, storyboard, presenter, actor or voice-over is useful when wording, timing or brand presentation needs tighter control.

Teleprompters, screen recordings, graphics, captions and supporting footage can help make complex information easier to follow.

KIT, ACCESS AND PARKING

The equipment depends on the shoot

A compact interview and a multi-camera production need very different plans. Access and parking affect what can be carried in and how quickly the crew can work.

From a backpack to a full van load

For a larger shoot we may need several cameras, tripods, lenses, lights, stands, microphones, monitors, batteries and cases. That can fill a van, so parking or a loading space close to the filming location is essential.

If parking or access is difficult, we can keep the setup minimal and carry DSLR or compact mirrorless cameras, lenses, sound equipment and basic supports in backpacks. This is useful for quick interviews, events, restricted locations and shoots where a small footprint matters.

Please tell us about parking, loading, stairs, lifts, security and the distance from the vehicle to the filming area. It helps us choose the right kit and allow realistic setup time.

Editing and technical review

After filming, the footage is organised and edited into the agreed structure. For technical or detailed subjects, we can bring the editing system to your boardroom or office and work beside the training manager, project lead or subject expert.

Immediate input helps confirm terminology, choose the correct demonstrations and avoid lengthy rounds of remote changes. Standard projects can be reviewed online instead.

VIDEO PRODUCTION FAQ

Practical answers before filming begins

Send a rough brief for advice on schedule, location and deliverables.

What happens after I make an enquiry?

We discuss the purpose, audience, preferred dates, location, deadline and likely deliverables. From there we can recommend a practical approach and prepare a clear quotation.

How much can be filmed in one day?

Careful scheduling can often combine interviews, demonstrations, workplace footage, detail shots and stills in one focused day. More complex scripts, several locations or larger casts may need additional time.

Can you help with the script or interview questions?

Yes. We can turn a rough objective into a practical film structure, interview plan, script or storyboard before filming.

Can filming be organised around our working day?

Yes. We plan access, room use, contributor timings and the order of filming around operational priorities. A compact crew can often achieve a great deal while keeping disruption low.

Can you edit with our subject expert at our workplace?

Yes. For technical or complicated subjects, we can bring the footage and editing system into a boardroom or office and work alongside the training manager, project lead or specialist.

How does feedback and approval work?

You receive a review version and provide consolidated feedback. We complete the agreed changes, confirm any technical wording and prepare the final masters.

What files will we receive?

Delivery can include the main film, shorter edits, captioned versions, vertical or square social formats, presentation files, clean masters and raw footage where included in the scope.

Can you return for additional filming later in the year?

Yes. Additional shoots can update services, add fresh case studies, capture seasonal activity or build an ongoing library of useful content.
