Installation Filming Built Around the Work
Installation work rarely happens to a camera-friendly timetable. We film around delivery windows, shutdowns, crane lifts, contractors and live production, with our own standard PPE and a site-aware approach. Day shifts, night shifts and one-off milestones can all be covered.
We have documented projects including shop fittings, modular housing, machinery installation and major industrial equipment. One project followed large paper-mill cylinders from an overnight delivery from the docks through to their installation on site.
Capture the stages that cannot be repeated
Installation films are strongest when they show the whole sequence: arrival, access, unloading, lifting, assembly, positioning, connection, testing and handover. We can also record interviews with engineers, contractors, project managers and client teams while the work is taking place.
Coverage can be supplied as a finished case study, short social edits, photography, organised raw footage or a mixture of formats. For longer projects, repeat visits and time-lapse can show progress from an empty space through to the completed installation.

Which stages of an installation should be filmed?
The most valuable moments are usually the ones that cannot be recreated: arrival of major equipment, overnight deliveries, crane lifts, unloading, positioning, first assembly and final commissioning.
For fit-outs and modular projects, filming can follow the visible transformation from an empty or prepared space through installation, finishing work and handover. A single visit may be enough, while larger projects can be covered at several milestones.
Where repeat visits are needed, we can keep viewpoints, shot lists and drone positions consistent so each stage cuts together cleanly in the final film.
TIME-LAPSE INSTALLATION FILMING
Time-lapse can compress days or weeks of installation work into a clear visual record, particularly for fit-outs, modular builds and projects where progress happens in defined stages.
Drone Filming for Installation Projects
Drone filming can show the scale of a delivery, site access, lifting operation or completed installation in a way ground cameras cannot. Where flights are permitted, aerial footage can be planned alongside the main filming so the finished video shows both the detail and the wider site.
