BERKSHIRE VIDEO PRODUCTION

REAL PEOPLE · REAL LOCATIONS · CLEAR DELIVERY · READING TO WINDSOR

Corporate production example: controlled interview filming supported by relevant location footage, recorded so the edit can be shaped around the contributor rather than generic cutaways.

Professional video production for Berkshire organisations

Berkshire work often means filming inside busy offices, technology businesses, industrial sites, hotels, conference venues and public organisations. The useful planning starts before the cameras arrive: access, parking, sound, contributor timings, permissions and the final deliverables are agreed first.

A recent Reading brief combined panel coverage, event highlights and four short social edits for a Berkshire partner event. The schedule needed speaker footage, audience reactions, networking and useful short-form material from the same event programme.

That is the approach across Berkshire: work backwards from what the client needs to publish, then plan the filming day around the people, location and edit.

VIDEO SERVICES IN BERKSHIRE

Choose the production around what the film needs to achieve

The crew and filming plan change with the job. A leadership interview, a case study, a scripted commercial and a conference all need different coverage, even when they are filmed in the same part of Berkshire.

Interviews & B-roll

Leadership, customer and staff interviews with controlled lighting and sound, followed by workplace or process footage that directly supports what is being said.

Interview and B-roll filming

Corporate & case study films

Business stories built around credible contributors, real locations and evidence of the work, with a main film and shorter versions planned together where useful.

Corporate video production

Brand films

Story-led films using founders, staff, customers and real workplaces when the strength of the business is best shown through the people behind it.

Brand film production

Commercials & paid campaigns

Director-led adverts built around a concept, script, performers, locations and planned shots for TV, cinema, websites or paid social.

Commercial video production

Events & conferences

Panel talks, conferences, launches, awards and presentations covered with the camera plan and venue audio required for full recordings, highlights or social edits.

Event filming

Training & internal films

DIRECT ACCESS TO THE FILMMAKER

A compact production when it makes sense. A larger crew when the idea needs it.

MJ Films does not force every Berkshire brief into the same crew structure. For focused productions, Mark can lead producing, directing, camera and editing, keeping the creative decisions close to the brief.

More demanding shoots can add camera assistants, sound recordists, lighting, additional camera operators, production support, makeup, art department or other specialists. The crew is assembled around what has to happen on screen and on location.

This works well for businesses that want one accountable production lead while still having access to a wider team when the scale increases.

WHITE-LABEL VIDEO PRODUCTION

We work white-label for marketing agencies and production companies in Berkshire

MJ Films regularly works as the white-label production unit behind marketing agencies, creative agencies and other video production companies. We can film under your company's brief and workflow, with the end-client relationship remaining with you. Delivery can be organised raw footage, synced material or a completed edit, depending on how you want the production handled.

Camera format, picture profile, frame rate, codec, audio, file naming, drives, proxy requirements and handover can be agreed before the shoot. We can also work directly with your producer or remote director while keeping the end client relationship with your company.

This is useful for Berkshire assignments where an agency needs a reliable local production day without building a new crew from scratch.

READING · WINDSOR · SLOUGH · NEWBURY

Video production across Berkshire and the Thames Valley

Berkshire combines large corporate sites, technology businesses, logistics, hospitality, estates, universities, conference venues and rural locations. The production plan accounts for the practical differences between them.

Reading & Wokingham

Corporate offices, technology companies, universities, business parks and conference hotels often involve reception clearance, reserved interview rooms, parking and several contributors moving through one schedule.

Windsor & Maidenhead

Corporate offices, hotels, estates and visitor-facing locations can require controlled equipment movement, discreet setup and filming timed around guests, customers or public access.

Slough & Bracknell

Distribution, data, technology and commercial sites may involve security, loading instructions, PPE, operational areas and confidential material that must remain outside the camera frame.

Newbury & West Berkshire

Business parks, rural premises, training locations and multi-building sites may need extra travel time between setups, clear meeting points and weather-aware planning for exterior filming.

BERKSHIRE VIDEO PRODUCTION FAQ

Straight answers before booking a Berkshire shoot

How much does video production in Berkshire cost?

The price depends on what has to be filmed and what needs to be delivered afterwards: filming time, crew size, number of locations, cameras, sound, lighting, graphics and the amount of editing. The quotation sets out the agreed scope and deliverables before anything is booked, so you can see what the production includes.

Can you work to a fixed budget?

Yes. If you have a budget ceiling, say so at the start. We can shape the filming time, crew, locations and number of finished edits around it and explain what is realistic. If the brief and budget do not match, we will say so before the shoot rather than adding surprises later.

How quickly can you deliver the first edit?

The delivery date is agreed before filming. Straightforward interview, case-study and event edits can move quickly, while brand films, multi-video campaigns and graphics-heavy productions need more post-production time. If you have a launch, conference or campaign deadline, the schedule can be planned backwards from that date.

How many videos can we get from one filming day?

Often several. If the outputs are planned before the cameras arrive, one shoot can provide a main film, shorter edits, standalone interview answers and social versions. The shot list and framing are then designed to give each version the pictures it needs rather than trying to manufacture extra content from unsuitable footage afterwards.

Do we need a script or a finished brief before contacting you?

No. A clear objective, audience, location, preferred filming date and rough idea of the finished videos are enough to start. From there, the production can be built around interviews, a script or voiceover, a shot list, event coverage or a mixture of these.

How many people will be on the filming crew?

That depends on the job. A focused corporate interview or case study may only need one experienced filmmaker. A commercial, multi-camera event or more demanding location can add camera operators, sound, lighting and production support. The crew is sized around what needs to happen on screen, and the quotation makes that clear.

How do feedback and revisions work?

You receive a draft to review before the film is finalised. Feedback can then be consolidated into clear edit notes and the agreed revision allowance is set out with the project scope. If the brief changes substantially after filming, or new filming is requested, that is discussed separately before any extra work is carried out.
