SHROPSHIRE VIDEO PRODUCTION

Video production Shropshire

Business films, interviews, events and location production across Shrewsbury, Telford and Shropshire

MJ Films provides video production across Shropshire for businesses, agencies, public-sector organisations, charities and production teams. Projects can range from a focused interview or event shoot to a complete company film combining people, locations, products, processes and supporting footage.

The crew and equipment are scaled around the brief, keeping straightforward shoots compact while allowing larger productions to add extra camera, sound, lighting, photography or aerial coverage where required.

FILMING ACROSS SHROPSHIRE

Plan around the people, the location and the working day

A Shropshire production might mean a town-centre office in Shrewsbury, an industrial or manufacturing site in Telford, an event venue, a rural property or an operational workplace. Access, sound, parking, contributor availability and the activities that can only happen at certain times are planned before filming.

That keeps the day focused on useful material rather than unnecessary setup, while still allowing the crew to scale when the brief genuinely needs more coverage.

01

INTERVIEWS · TESTIMONIALS · THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Interview filming with clean sound and controlled lighting

Leadership interviews, customer testimonials and specialist contributors can be filmed with a calm setup that helps people speak naturally. Supporting footage from the same location can then give the edit context and something useful to cut to.

02

COMPANIES · CUSTOMERS · PROJECT STORIES

Corporate and case-study films

Company stories and customer case studies work best when the interview is supported by real people, places, products and activity. The main film and shorter versions can be planned together so one production day creates material for several channels.

03

EVENTS · TALKS · PRESENTATIONS

Events and conference filming

Presentations, panels, conferences and organisational events can be covered with one or several cameras, clean venue audio and a filming plan built around the running order. Delivery can include full sessions, highlights and shorter online edits.

04

SITES · PROPERTY · INFRASTRUCTURE

Construction, site and aerial filming

Construction, manufacturing, property and infrastructure projects often need the location itself to carry part of the story. Ground filming can be combined with aerial coverage where permissions and conditions allow, with access and safety planned around the real site.

05

TRAINING · INDUCTION · INTERNAL COMMS

Training and internal films

Training, onboarding, procedures and specialist knowledge can be filmed as one programme or broken into shorter reusable modules. Demonstrations and real processes can be captured clearly enough for staff, customers or stakeholders to use again.

06

AGENCIES · PRODUCERS · IN-HOUSE TEAMS

Filming support and organised footage handover

Agencies and in-house teams can book camera, lighting and sound around an existing creative brief and edit plan. Footage can be supplied organised for your own post-production, or MJ Films can take the project through editing and delivery.

VIDEO PRODUCTION ACROSS SHROPSHIRE

Shrewsbury, Telford and the wider county

We film across Shropshire including Shrewsbury, Telford, Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Oswestry, Whitchurch, Ludlow, Newport, Market Drayton and surrounding areas. Projects range from offices, events and education sites to manufacturing, construction, rural properties and operational workplaces.

For organisations working across several locations, the same camera, sound and interview approach can be carried across Shropshire and neighbouring counties.

SHROPSHIRE VIDEO PRODUCTION FAQ

Practical questions before the filming day

Is half a day enough for a Shropshire video shoot?

It can be, when the brief is focused and everything is ready. A four-hour session may suit one interview setup with a defined amount of b-roll, but there is less margin for waiting, room changes or second takes. Multiple contributors, several locations or a larger shot list are normally better planned as a full day.

What do you need from us before filming?

A clear purpose, confirmed location, contributor availability, access and parking or unloading information, any must-capture activity and the intended final deliverables. If a process, event item or member of staff is only available at a particular time, that should be built into the schedule in advance.

How many crew are we paying for?

Only the crew the brief genuinely needs. A straightforward interview, case study or company film can often be handled by one experienced freelance camera operator and self-shooting director. More demanding productions can add another camera operator, dedicated sound, lighting, photography, drone or production support.

Can you film at a working office, factory or operational site?

Yes. The setup can be planned around the working day, including noise, access, machinery, security, staff availability and restricted areas. For more complex operational environments, see our industrial video production approach.

Can you supply footage to our own editor or agency?

Yes. We can work as the filming unit and hand over organised media for your own post-production team. See raw footage capture and handover. If you want the finished project handled in-house, editing and delivery can be included instead.

Can you film several types of content on the same day?

Often, yes. A planned day might combine interviews, workplace b-roll, project footage, event material or selected photography. The important thing is to decide the priority order before filming so the core deliverables are protected if the schedule changes.
